Hi, I'm brand spanking new to HOP, never even new it existed until I stumbled upon it recently. Only just starting to get my sea legs as far as the technology thing goes. Just typed poi into a search engine and BAM, Here I am. And right glad I am too. Been spinning for years on and off, started in South Africa and the enthusiasm kinda waned once I got to the UK and refused to leave the warmth of indoors for months. Years later I am regaining my passion and learnig to accept that 26 degrees celcius is warm.
Think Hop is amazing, looking forward to learning and living and loving and growing.

Ooooh yesssss!!!
Crazy B didnt come because it was a weekday and he had to go to work, otherwise I would have brought him with. Anyway, we will be arranging a big spinny-meet day/night in Brighton this summer, not too sure when yet,but it will be on the level again. So prepare yourselves!!! You SHALL attend!!!

me and simon are getting us T-shirts for our flash band of spinners.....also trying to organise a web-site now.... and we got to play on his fire engine
(he IS a fire man) A couple of balls short of a full cascade... or maybe a few cards short of a deck... we'll see how this all fans out.

hello we done got photo's done by a photo-grapher chappy took over 100 shots and got about 3 good pics... numpty was using really short exposures in the dark but got some beautiful aerotech shots oh and new trick done today.. the double-staffapoiggle... 2 staffs 2 poi and 3 balls..at the same time
I may even be able to get a 3rd staff in I haven't tried yet AND thinking about learning a new toy.Blu..guess what...I can do poi (well lets be fair its not a real skill)
This week I have learnt:
flowers
5 beat weave
gyroscope (real one and the one you do blu
)butterfly weave
no bad for a week of actually trying to learn poi (come on guys it's easy) anti spin flowers on the way

ummmm oooohhh shiney *wanders off after pretty thing*

Well lets be fair I'm gonna be doing shows so need to have a bit of variety... and so you know FRD I learnt about 5 poi moves in a week so I can spend as little time doing it as possible..
and so you can look up to me again FRD (you know you always have
) I have been practicing some nice new staff moves. You'd be good at them Henry you have a flat head A couple of balls short of a full cascade... or maybe a few cards short of a deck... we'll see how this all fans out.

tip: dont try headspins with long hair if you have a heavy staff with silicone grip

I FINALLY GOT MY CAR!!!! A FIAT PUNTO...AND..UH..ITS GREEN
(ok, ok, I know nothing about cars so all I know about it is the colour...my boyfriend chose it out for me, did all the checking stuff that car buyers do, took it for a test drive and gave me the nod, I approved of the colour so handed over the cash

well, the start of this year was a very painful and distressing time for me, but on the upside i'm turning my life around and have even now got a wonderful boyfriend and lots of kind supportive friends around me.
