Hi,
My name's Jasmine, I'm from New Zealand but I've just moved to Japan. Does anyone know if there are ever any fire spinning gatherings in Tokyo???

The colour pink! My favourite colour is green, but being in Japan does actually make you like pink for some reason, everything is so girlie here, you find yourself un-intentionally shopping in shades of pink. There are a couple of people listed as living in Toyko, I sent one a message, but I'm just really itching to do some fire poi but it's not the kind of place I want to just light up on the side of the street! At least not by myself anyway!

A couple of years, no actually 3 years now I think about it, I'd only ever done poi up until a couple a months ago when I got a staff but unfortunately I couldn't fit it in my luggage! Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas is a book and a movie, the movie has Johnny Depp in it, I'd highly recommend it, 5 stars! Salmonella Dub and Katchafire are NZ bands. The Labyrinth is a movie from 1985 with David Bowie starring as the Goblin prince and he has the most fantastic 80's glam, mullet ever! Well worth seeing too smile

Hi and welcome kitty! wave

Sorry don't know too much about Tokyo, but I was wondering if I could ask a REALLY big favour from you.. if you visit the upcoming world expo in Tokyo, could you help me look for a United Nations Environment Program 'Focus on your World' display and help me take a picture of a photo I took?

I got an honorary mention, and I hear it's going to be exhibited- but snowball's chance in hell I'll be able to afford to fly to see my shot.. smile

do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and good to eat!

if at first you do succeed, try not to look too astonished!

No, the earth quake was so far away I didn't feel it ! luckily:) although there's probably been about 5 or 6 I have felt since I've been here over 6 weeks or so! only little ones though. Osaka is kind of far away from Tokyo, not too far but it's expensive to get there.
