Hi there peoples.
Thought I'd better do this intro thead like most of you probably have... Well me, I'm a mother of 3 from the beautiful land of the long white cloud (Yes NZ) and have just started getting into fire poi. A friend has been spinning with a fire staff for a few years (fascinated as I was) so thought it was about time I put my A---->G so bought myself a beginners set of poi from here... Boy am I loving it 
Only had them a week and already was out practicing (ahem read showing off) to mates. Well, the half of the online lessons that I can do anyway...
I'm doing a computer course at the mo so still not used to these forum things yet
Excuse me if my netiquette isn't so s**t hot.
Before this turns into a novel I'd better go and check out some of the poi moves threads... see if I can get any hints on the BTB weave etc Later

psstt I have three boys and they love staff
They tend to hit things rather than spin but I figure its a boy thing. My youngest is out wearing a rubber glove undies and a pirate hat with big feather slaying beasts

Yes I like the colour pink... on other people, I have a red rinse through my hair at the mo so it would clash a bit
I'll be at fire nite tonight with my kids. Come and say hi since I don't know what u look like.... I can't do much yet but still enjoy watching. Good for getting ideas on moves I can't get yet
Bolognase & a massage sounds good
Best bolognase I ever had was made by a fire dancer
I'd better go suss out dinner. It's fun to take the kids over but needs alot of preparation
