My Cousins lives in Ripon.

Ive been there too.

Usually... you can never use fire in a club...unless you are up on a stage faaar away from the crowd.

This also all depends on if you are performing, or if you are just juggling for fun.

If for fun...then you dont need insurace I THINK.

biggrin

get glo equipment instead... it's much less messy and would be a worthy use of £100 odd pounds! smile

wow cool,
il have to have a word with the manager/owner to see what they say about the insurance,can you get different types that cover you for different things or is it more straight forward than that?

It should be under their insurance as accidental damage/ damage due to fire.

For you, its called Personal Liability insurance.

Dunno, search around. Around that if not slightly more (£120 possibly). Yes a little bit, but I've never needed insurance for it.

Jon, and everyone;
I need some help on safety tips for fire poi in clubs. I have a good sized space, but how do y'all make it safer for a performance, and what about insurance? Does the clubs fire insurance cover it? Help!

£140 I think actually frown

But yes, if you're being paid (in money or kind) by the club to perform there, you'll need insurance.

You can still hurt people or break things with unlit props - and you can guarantee if you do - the club won't help you unless they have specifically said (in writing) that they will.
