top o' the morning wales based poiple! this is the thread for all things wales based, although the crew is mostly based in the land of taff currently with a sizeable offshoot in the land of tawe, please talk about funky things all over cymru in this thread!!
so, for the uninitiated, here is an exciting list of regular poi activities for the wales based....
Cardiff/Caerdydd:
Thursday nights, 8-10pm, come along to Ebenezer Church (Charles Street, around the back of Burger King and Next) for nofitstate circus' community juggling club, for poi and all sorts of other exciting juggle arts. It's just £2.
Little Devil's Circus coming soon... contact pitman for further details or keep an eye on this thread
on sunny evenings/days, Roath Park (Rec. or flower garden) you may well find a NOn spinning... it might also not be a NOn, or even a HoP person at all, but if you see someone there spinning, you may as well say hello...
at other unspecified times, there may be other meets, check the most recent posts in this thread for specific details...
Juggling Shops
Cardiff Games, Duke St Arcade: although not exclusively a juggling shop, they stock some poi, juggling balls and rings, plus occasional other sorts of toys... oh and the guy who owns it does poi too!

all is good. i soo want a nesbitt fire diabolo but they are like 80 quid. i played with one in london on staurday at oddballs. i will be leaving the country at the end of january and i would be very sad if we didnt have a meet before then so something must get organized and everyone must come and there has to be fire spinning and fire dohnut. and i mean everyone.

don't know where, it's all kind of muddy and wet and yucky outside... although there's some concreted bit in coopers field suitable for muddy day spinnage, where we've gone before, and it's not too far to seek refuge in a nice warm dry pub/cafe...
what about next sunday 14th?
unless anyone did manage to find a hall?

anybody found a good place to spin. i was thinking it would be awesome to spin on one of the black mountains or something...but maybe we'll leave that till the summer!
