hi there ahi!! and welcome!! (can we shorten that to ahi? i think it's an aussie thing...we can only have 2 syllables in names!! )

well i grew up in hawaii when i was 4 - 8 wich is the longest ivce stayed in one place and i went to EVERY luau so that is where i was introduces to fire dancing ive taken many martial arts since then and last year i decided i wanted to get into firedancing... i bought a pair of poi from HoP and have been working on that a year but decided it wasnt really me i couldnt bland them well and i didnt like hitting my self in the croth as many times as i did lol so this year i got a staff DVD and i am doing okay i guess i have liited space to work in but i have previous martial arts experience wich helps a little i have not bought a pair of fire poi or a fire staff yet (i have a bamboo rod for my staff atm) so i havent ever used fire yet.... umm i cant think of much else to say cept im a senior and am going to be a firefighter next fall i believe (i cant get away from fire hehe).... oh and anyone near southern maine that wants to help me out or anything with moves and stuff feel free to PM me

yah ive been all over down south furthest north i ever was was arkansas but hawaii is where i call home
