The flight over was a bit of a nightmare, as this woman's 5 year old child decided I was his personal toy. She fell fast asleep while he proceeded to whap me in the head with the toothbrushes British Airways hands out....he also bit me, and everytime I was just asleep, he'd tug on my sleeve, kick me or something else totally outrageous. I'd get frustrated, tell him off, the mom would wake up, whack him a few times, then fall back asleep....20 minutes later, it would start all over again.


I had to keep my patience because the last thing I wanted was to land at Gatwick and be hauled off to jail as an enraged passenger.

Somehow, I managed to stay up until 4 am, bringing in the new year.

Mand...if we stayed up for 2 mour hours, we could have called our friends in the states to wish them a happy new year while they partied.

Ok.....I need to go nurse this hangover...which isn't terrible, just a dull ache.
