Hi, newbie...be gentle

Hi everyone.

I have been browsing this site for a few weeks and have finally registered.

I am completely new to Poi and have just recieved my first set of poi that i bought from Ebay.

I've tried looking at the lessons online, but find the images are just too darn small. Anyone know a good place for me to start my path of poi?

Any help would be much appriciated.

Near the Stamford Bridge?? Do your eyes glaze over when people mention the battle like Aimees do about Hastings.

Theres one person in York, is that you. Check the meet others maybe. Good luck in finding someone to teach you.

Welcome to HOP. Maybe watch the ickle vids then print off the instructions and go outside and just play. There are other sites with lessons, spherculism and mot has a good site too with lots of lessons its here

There are several Stamford Bridge's in the UK Gnor.

York is in Yorkshire. it's different from Lincolnshire in many many ways tongue

Ms Darkness doesn't actually appear to be called Alice in real life. She seems to be called Liz.

I think the darkness bit is a reference to the Alice computer game. Anyhoo, mayhap i should let her answer these questions instead of me. She's bound to have a clearer idea about them than i have.
