has anyone read micheal moores book "dude where's my country"
its amazingly eye opening i recommend it to everyone
i was a bit pissed off that he got re-elected but he's only the greater of two evils
i guess things might go more smoothly in iraq seeing as none of the terrorist dudes will think that they've won the war or anything like that oh well

Incidentally, the trouble there was not started by 'terrorist dudes'. It was started by people fighting back from an invading force - but admittedly, with the mess Bush has made there and the decline of law and order, such dudes are finding safe haven in Iraq)

In the light of your failure to be able to select a suitable President of the USA and thus to govern yourselves in a fair manner (fair to the rest of us that is), we hereby give notice of the revocation of your independence, effective today.

2. There is no such thing as "US English". We will let Microsoft know on your behalf.

3. You should learn to distinguish the English and Australian accents. It really isn't that hard.

4. Hollywood will be required occasionally to cast English actors as the good guys. 

5. You should relearn your original national anthem, "God Save The Queen", but only after fully carrying out task 1. We would not want you to get confused and give up half way through.

6. You should stop playing American "football". There is only one kind of football. What you refer to as American "football" is not a very good game. The 2.15% of you who are aware that there is a world outside your borders may have noticed that no one else plays "American" football. You will no longer be allowed to play it, and should instead play proper football. Initially, it would be best if you played with the girls. It is a difficult game. Those of you brave enough will, in time, be allowed to play rugby (which is similar to American "football", but does not involve stopping for a rest every twenty seconds or wearing full Kevlar body armour like nancies). We are hoping to get together at least a US rugby sevens side by 2008.

7. You should declare war on Quebec and France, using nuclear weapons if they give you any merde. The 97.85% of you who were not aware that there is a world outside your borders should count yourselves lucky. The Russians have never been the bad guys.

8. July 4th is no longer a public holiday. November 2nd will be a new national holiday, but only in England. It will be called "Indecision Day".

9. All American cars are hereby banned. They are crap and it is for your own good. When we show you German cars, you will understand what we mean.

10. Please tell us who killed JFK. It's been driving us crazy.

Or do you mean the American Camelot; that was obviously a fairy-tale.

The King Arthur is an interesting point, cos they haven't necessarilly proven his existance, but they haven't proven his lack of existance either...Check out the documentaries they show on it, they are really interesting.

Lol,

There is evidence to suggest there was a king named Arthur at around that time, but whether any of the exploits of Camelot and the knights of the round table are accurate, I don't know.

WOW its wierd how much the election of ONE guy has affected the entire world!! being american (and sorry i voted for kerry) its strange to see, yes i understand the war has affected everybody, and its bush's war, but think about it from out side the box.........ONE MAN thats all he is, and yet it affects EVERYONE, i think that this damn country has to much pull in the world.........obviously the U.S. gov. feels it has the right to police the world, and at this point it has gone to Bush's head, how much power he has............any one else find it wierd that the army did this big assult on fallujah 2 DAYS after bush was re-elected? i think its suspect

I agree - I somehow feel that Bush gave some ideas to Tony on how to get re-elected, ie. trounce all over your opponents and make it look like a vote the other way and everything will come crashing down. And that in a few years time Bush n' Blair will be scheming to start some terrible war once more, but i have the feeling that there will be a lot more opposition and if Tony does do another Iraq, we could see some interesting images on the evening news. I doubt we'll stand by one more time...

Very true lads.

American politiking is being imitated more and more in UK politics... the 'personality' over policies, the rude mud-slinging, the underhanded tactics...

Admittedly, these have all been factors in British politics for years... but the brazen in-your-face deviousness of Bush as been an inspiration to them all.

It has been highly amusing watching the change in our own local Northern Irish representatives.

I think that Bush is underapreciated. I don't personally like him, or aprove of his politics, but he's not stupid. Stupid people don't become president of the United States.

Sparkey is right Bush is no stupid man. Hes still a though.
Did anyone ever see the photo of him looking through binoculars with the lens caps still on? Or the one where he is reading a book upside down.
Or how about the speech when he said " Terrorists will never stop thinking of ways to damage america , and neither will we" or it was something like it.

My uncle an irish guard worked very closly with his security teams when he visited Ireland and he is apparently not an idiot.
Maybe he is trying to show everybody makes mistakes even the president of the USA or trying ( a bit too hard ) to show he is a normal person.
