Hi all!
I've been visiting HOP since 2000, when I first started spinning poi... It's about time I introduce mee self! I've been cautiously wading in the banks of these forums for years. I decided, after learning so much here and noticing how incredibly (unusually!) friendly these forums are, that you can count me in. so...
I love forever poi and my new-ish flaming hula hoop, dabble in staff and fire eating, and bellydance with fire fingers!!
I help run an artspace/gallery/artist's co-op.
I work as a textile artist at a medium sized fashion company. I also screenprint and sew my own clothes and costumes at home, and sell some in a local designer's boutique, an art gallery and sometimes on Ebay.
I live with Walter, possibly the world's largest domestic house cat.
It's funny that Hunter S Thompson's character in "Where the Buffalo Roam" has a doberman that is trained to attack when Bill Murray says "Nixon". (looking at my Doberman and getting some funny ideas...) although all she does is bark not bite. oh well, you're safe for now mr president

Nope, Gidg ~ haven't tried the fire fans yet! This weekend trishnamurti is gonna let me use hers... we're planning to dress up like conjoined ("siamese") twins joined at the hip, doing fire fans.

Hi! I'm good, it's friday & payday! A bit tired because at 4:30 am Walter was pawing at my face and eyes until I woke up. He forced me to scratch his cheeks for half an hour. That cat!
My hubby is digging his own grave right now so he can be buried alive. He's inviting people over to dance on his grave & read eulogies for him that'll make him roll over. He'll ring a bell when he's ready to be revived...
