Summer Location: Queen Victoria gardens.
The aim is not for a solely firetwirling night, but a night whereby firetwirlers, jugglers, contact jugglers, diabolo etc can meet. So feel free to bring friends who may be interested.
Night starts at 6pm for all those who are keen to learn. Fire starts after dark 7.00 - 8ish till late!
So.... the location is Queen Victoria Gardens
St. Kilda Road – opposite 'National Gallery of VIC' (Old Arts Gallery with spire)
The grassed area near the three raised palm trees. (Look out for the bronze statue hammer thrower)
With only a 5 minute walk over the princess bridge from Flinders Street station.

OK. I'm now doing shift work so some mondays I start after lunch and I'm keen to start dropping in on the sunday sessions when I can. What time and wheres the easiest place to park.
I have yet to not get a park on st kilda road except for public holiday weekends

Now that it's winter I'm not sure.
About 7 is when people will probably start to rock up.
Under the bridge on Southbank now that it's winter.

I've usually experience alot of trouble parking my hatchback near QV gardens before 8PM. A lot of people seem to leave spaces free after that time tho. that's when drunk emo children appear to smash glass - which is something that I think I should have been more active about reacting to.
I kinda like being barefoot - it's so much nicer for naked feet to be on the grass at the QV site.
Might bring different music this weekend - bass-heavy genres don't really carry too well when u play em on tiny speakers
On the photos, i think i'll wait 'till i get enough sharp/clearly lit shots 'till i post em.
Lastly thanks for encouraging everyone last week to gather at the QV gardens, Brenn! havin so much fire on a sunday was really spesh!!

Bridge at Southbank is the winter location.
We change with daylight savings unless posted otherwise. "Otherwise" being reasons like nice weather.

good point - it's not like being under the bridge will a warm tropical paradise. The cover matters most on days when it is raining.

fishies are funny like that. You should meet the cross eyed one at blue tile lounge. The others tend to float upside down..without being dead..they are a strange tank of fishies.

if they float upside down but are alive, they have some infection or somesuch in the swim bladder... generally they don't have it for long... or much else. Poor fishes (happed to my sister's fish)
