Not exactly new to the site, but never bothered to introduce myself - until I saw all the fun that was being had by others. And the truth is, this thread is all about me! Suits my ego down to the ground.

SO, I am neither Gerald, nor Arthur, I'm also not an old hag.

I shall quell my tendancies to outright lying (partly because I know I'd be immediately uncovered... though that sounds appealing :dirtylaugh:) and talk about the "real me". Nice.

Full name - Laura Michelle Egginton. I really like jam. especially seeded raspberry jam.

My favourite toy - I have favoured the joys of poi for a good few years now, started spinning in 2001 ish. I've had a great time spinning with everyone I know and met over the years and continue to constantly be inspired biggrinhug thanks all ubblove

I study languages - German, easy fluency

- Portuguese - can converse

- Spanish, I can get misunderstood, but generally survive only mortally offending the odd person.

- French, gets me into all kinds of [Old link]...

currently (Sep2004) working on... contact poi, RHD inspired throws and moves, bloody whip catchescensored, various tangles, improing the design of my fire poi. Also improoveing my spelling.

I also play with sticks (badly) and juggle (also pretty badly, but its all about the passing smile)

so thats me in a nutella shell - oh how we do laugh, "what wit!" they cried in unison.

hugs (snogs if your lucky, but not you Maderlock, that's just wrong)

Loz

You're sick for even mentioning it. NOTHING can replace nutella and you know it, fool. Thanks for teaching me everything I know about diablo, fire walking, poi, deep sea diving and inflating giraffes with helium until they can be used as barrage balloons. Yeah, that was a good summer! (please note, I know nothing about these things, apart from one of them). Hi Loz!

you sexy lady you... smile

now for your inquisition (which face it, you were expecting, so less of that)

1) why does nutella reign supreme over other chocolatey goodness? (no marmite comments please and in less than 24 words)
2) what is the German word for those tunes that gt stuck in your head and won't go away? (say it quietly or molly might hear eek )
3) how do you keep your whites so mucky?
4) where about one's person is it proper to store sock poi when they are not in use?
5) explain your terrifying avatar without the use of the word slack.
6) last but not least, how many ways ARE there to flay a cat?

nice to see you properly HoP-housed, and most relieved to see that the walls are wipe-clean

love you lovely

hello my dear! Let me set a few things straight in your mind:

1) Nutella has secret powers the like of which you cannot fully understand until you've been thoroughly covered in it, it can do things to your mind that other chocoolate speads cannot.

2) Ohrwurm

3) By being an overactive mucky pup that prefers to keep her diary in image form upon her trousers - oh they tell stories alright.

4) tucked into your pants

5) terrifying? That's just me made up for a night out on the pull, you cant tell me you wouldn't take me home?

6) If I told you, I'd have to show you. And it would involve Lionel Richie and a bath tub, I don't think you'd like it much.

Ben, you keep your overactive trifle throwing gland at bay, or I may be forced to chastize you wink

and Beth, don't talk to me about whip catches, they are the bane of my life.... as are vertical propellors and the second half of the contact matrix grrrrrrrrr.

jammy hugs all round

Lx

Hello Laura! hug 21?? Really?? I might have known this in the past and forgotten it but I'm surprised you're such a young-un. No offence you just seem wise beyond your years!!

Nice to see you wading into the intros, and you say you do stick badly eek Not from my memory of the boobie roll wink and other impressive tricks you don't

See you in a couple weeks in Sunny (PAH!) Brizzle, we can share some contacy poi stuff if you please, I've got a couple new moves down and have even managed to get that double horizontal propellor pass behind my back bounce of course only a few times but it's getting closer and closer to being nailed smile

But if you wanna learn whips like the hyperloop UTL whip toss you'll have to ask nicely wink
