this is a pretty crazy and rather depressing statistic that i picked up from the july 2002 harper's magazine index pg. 11
"the amount congress allocated blue springs, missouri, this spring to help the town combat "gothic culture": $237,437"
"miles from blue springs to the nearest gothic cathedral: 4,280"
talk about a f*cked up way to spend taxpayer money!

On a huge shitty glass dome, that they are now going to take down and probably use as yet another sports stadium or a fucking shopping centre for rich bastards, when they COULD have used the money usefully, like giving it to those who need it. 'Give'?? Never! They'd never do anything out of the goodness of their hearts. Fuckers! All wankers, all of them!

Well it wasn't glass 'mouse' - but it was made of something that cost lots of cash. The Millenium Dome. Soooooo angry about that. It was sooooo ugly AND it's on the f'ing Eastenders map now!! Sheesh!

I am not paying out Goths, and I think many people have been there done that, especially if you were an angry fucked up teenager and listened too angry industrial music, while liking the whole vampire idea.....but you know you do grow out of it.
And for those who don't and like that life style, then yep I would say they are a happy goth , and that's cool with me. I know a few myself, they are most lovely people.
But the teenagers going for the ride, because it's cool to creep people out, and have them be "scared" of you, and get out of your way because you might curse them.... well you grow out of it

When I say something I expect a bit of shit from it, 9 times out of 10 I know what people are going to say. One of these last times was the 10th time when I got way over my head. Any how I dont even give that much shit to people. Any how I am going to just say this.
Weather it is Gothic as in vampire wannabes or Gothic as Midevil architecture (sp) it is wrong to try to stop or even cough up $200,000+ to combat any culture its just wrong.
Let me rephrase that(in the above pharagraph I might have been pretty confusing), It does not matter if you paint your face white or it you like a good cathidral it is wrong to try to stop that culture. There lets hope that makes more sence.
