Hello, wavehello

I'm Helen, 25 years old from Dublin, Ireland. I currently work in a library restoring historic maps, but as of this Friday, i will be jacking that in to go travelling, starting with Burning Man sunny

I've been spinning poi for a couple of years now, and playing with a fire wheel (thanks Squarefish!). I lurked for ages on HOP because i was shy ubbangel but recently i've had the pleasure of meeting a lot of the other Irish spinners who post here, and i've realised what i was missing out on by not getting to know more of you lovely people grouphug

I'll be camped with the Paddy Mirage at Burning Man, so please come over for a pint if you're around! beerchug

Hope to meet more of you (and pick up a few tricks wink )

Thanks for reading this,

Helen

BTW, sláinte means "good health" or "cheers" in Gaelic in case anyone was confused

details for potential hubby: my 23rd birthday is in exactly 3 weeks, and i DO expect flowers from a fiance,
i've been with my boyfriend for 3 years, but if we keep the wedding low key, he shouldn't hear about it. tongue
i'm very emotionally erratic, so life will always be filled with surprises!
i've got short red hair, but the colour needs topping up soon.
i think that the waifs are amazing https://www.thewaifs.com/

i think that hat number 29 is the best, but i'm none too impressed with hats like that, they remind me of dickheads coming back from the melbourne show (annual fair/ carnival type deal) and my boss (he has an affinity with silly hats and oversized shoes)
i just learnt how to do injections
i've got a cat called saru
no i won't set you up with my nursey friends
i have an impressive dowry

is that enough? will you marry me yet?

Yes, but it was already factored in. It was the fleece lining that tipped it. wink

Unfortunately...i'm not coming to see you redface

i'm flying out of Christchurch on Sunday, and although i'm changing planes in Auckland, it would have been way more expensive for me to stop off there ubbcrying

Can't believe i'm actually leaving this amazing place to go back home, but it feels right - this is a strange time for me to be away from my family for long periods, and it's been 8 months already...

i've met so many great people here though, and i expect to see many of them at the European Juggling Convention 2006 in Ireland...which i'm on the committee of...and will be largely what i spend my days working on when i get home. Miss the Jugglers Rest already though.

Take care Nat, Todd etc etc so many lovely people i've met in NZ grouphug i'll see you down the road, and naturally, i'm only a PM away anyway! Take care hug weavesmiley juggle hug
