Hello
hmmmmmm what to write about me as an intro.....damn its make or break time. First impressions are so vital. Oooooo the pressure.
I'm living in South Wales but originate from Essex (No I don't own White stillettos and No I'm not an Essex girl!). I don't bite, I do pinch, I love chocolate and I one day plan on learning lots of stuff I can't do yet.
Hobbies:- include juggling, balls
and clubs , Diablo, poi, doodling, music, hating housework (dust is natures way of showing what the burglars have stolen), making things, pulling things to bits (mainly to see how they work) , embarrassing my nieces and nephews (great fun hobbie that all aunties should take up), hugging trees and talking to bees (watch out for the squirrels......they ARE out to get you!)
Ambitions:- Never to grow up. Learn how to burn things safely
To that ends learning how to poi without stunning myself, blacking my eye or turning myself into a human torch. Learn to play more than one tune on the guitar. Rule the World. Learn to Surf. Conquer my fear of heights. Travel the world in a van with a man named Bob ("why Bob?" you ask...well why not Bob? I'm sure there are loads of nice men called Bob out there! Simons and Johns need not apply).
Boring stuff:- work in sales to pay the bills.

The badge making gave me something to do. I'm sooooooooo fed up of being stuck in the house. I might make it down to Brizzle for a day or 2 (fingers crossed). I'm being very good and resting for the remainder of this week so that I'll have some energy. My Niece Hannah might be over with her Boyfriend on the first weekend.

I'm working on commissioned hats and a range of kids hats at the moment. I'm Hoping to come up with a kids label of accessories. I have a fair few adult pixie hats left and a box of beanies. I'm thinking of lining the hats now to make them more substantial. It does mean they will cost more though and I'm not sure how well increased priced hats would sell.
I want to turn my creatures into a t-shirt range so I might have to come and have a chat with you about what I need to provide the printers with to get that done. All I have at the moment is doodles. I'm not sure how to turn those into something a printer can use to give a high quality t-shirt with a design that doesn't flake/peel off after a couple of washes.
Will you be at Brizzle all week? It's more than likely if I do make it I'll be there mid week if at all.
I really do have to regain balance of this stupid illness soon. It's stopping me having fun and that will never do!!

Do you have photoshop on your pooter? If you do and you know how to use it you can transfer it onto there, and rematrix it so that its suitable for printing, but thats something thats probably better explained closer to the time, either that or I'm sure Jonny may well know how to do it. It works differently for different printers due to the different plotters etc. that they have.

I'm getting asked by HoPpers to make them hats of various styles. The latest one is for Pitman. I can't tell you what it's like because he might not want people to know for a while because I think it's for a hat competition he has with some mates.
I also have a hat made for little Indigo (Firetramps baby), but thats a gift not a commission.

I've never tried but if I can find a pattern for fingerless gloves I'll give it a go. The cover bit is easy.
I like making baby hats because they look so much cuter than adult ones and you can get away with way more weird things with kids because they love it. Adults in the main are a bit to conservative to wear really wacky creations.
I want to learn to make felt hats too.
