That is truly bizarre, but very cool. Cheers Benny-boy.

Incidentally, i was thinking this the other day, if you were to move to Cornwall, you'd have the joy of teaching me staff every day!

How much fun would that be eh? wink

but also cos ninjais giving away a lrge section of his wonderful style for copying...

i knwo this is a very sad thing to say, but i am upset that this will happen

aww... it's not like he wouldn't show you how to do it if you aked him though, is it? besides by getting the move on video not only has steve been 'immortalised' in celluloid but will alway be asociated with the trick (if you're reading this mate - don't get too big headed about it wink) which surely he can only be happy about!

i know i'm happy about it cos i couldn't quite work out what he's been doing till the slow motion shot! smile nice one ben hug and steve! hug

well it looks like I've been drawn back to home of poi. It's always nice when someone comes up to you and says "You're on the internet"

as far as mechs comment on people nicking my spinning style,

I think it's great if people can do tricks I can do. The best bit about spinning is when you show someone something then they come back and go yeah I got it and you can do this with it as well. It's the advancement of the whole sport, art whatever you want to call it that's really important.

Yes I won't get as many wow's and huhs when I do that trick now but I get to see other people do it. And it looks totally different from the other side

so please take it away and think of the next bit, the extended extended confusatron or whatever you want to call it

well said, I think people can nick your moves, but no one can actually nick your style, especially if you're a reactive dancer. No two people react in the same way I've found. wink my .002

err well it is a nice trick, but it looks a lot like the elbow hand hand elbow repeat move? surely its a different contact variation of this with a bit of devil stickiness?

I dont think A.Ninja is giving away his style by teaching one trick, no matter how nice it is (and it is very nice, and open to characterisation) smile
