hey, is there anyone on HOP who is currently or shortly will be living in holland? just moved back home and i havent found the spinning community yet
spinning on my own is fun, but, ya know, i gotsta find some, umm, colleagues (?).. identify yourselves! im lonely

aaaahh I've got so many thing to care of! It drives me nuts...
I don't think I can make it to a meeting this week :-(
And Lauren: Your poi are (nearly) finished.. just some glue and a switch, and waiting for the leds. The leds should arrive tomorrow or friday. Will you be able to meet friday late or saterday early?
The design is mostly like mine. They are a little bit shorter and softer, so that's only good :-)

Ok, heres the not so fun part because i suck at directions, and suck even more when in dutch...
so... if you are coming from out of town to (STEP1)ROTTERDAM CENTRAL, you can take the (STEP2) UNDERGROUND LINE: Spjinkense (spelled wrong but you'll get it) to Leuvenhaven (also spelled wrong but very close), it will be the 3RD STOP from central station.
STEP 3: then, come up to the street and cross the street towards a funky bridge and turn right (dont cross the bridge). Just walk straight from there, its a 7 minute walk to the park, you'll pass an albert heijn (also spelled wrong i think) and a couple of sex bars.
hopefully you will see some fun looking people spinning some stuff, or you can start screaming names
There is also a tram that lets you off closer to the park, but i have no idea and am goign to ask someone about that now and hopefully leave another post.

Sweet! Amsterdam is a really good place to be for that. I would like to do a meeting again too before not too long. I've returned from America on monday and Burningman was awsome.

Ellooo everyone, long time no post due to extreme levels of busy-ness, hope you're all well & happy! I just dropped by to spam something that someone else at my organisation has been extreeeemely busy with, it's gonna be cool, Mot & I are gonna be there and I would love to see all of you guys again!

ahh we can have a after Burningman party,.. lastweekend I felt like live really sucked without all my new Burningman friends. Like you two, i also had a time full of wonders and party. Next year is already ticked off on the calendar for me.

I must say that i really miss the spin sessions with everyone, and i will say it again- your're awesome. yes you.
anyway, i was shown this potential work (i dont know this person myself, i was given the info through a friend) with a male american spinner in Portugal for 10 months starting in january. Apparently he is looking to work with any female (specified by show mangement, not him) who is very good at working with fire: staff, poi, fans, fingers, whatever in a casino show as a fire speialized act. i think that travel and room are paid for as well as $
i dont have specifics but i can pass someone along if anyone is interested-let me know asap in the next few days by email: laurenmichelledesigns@gmail.com
