hi there,

hey, is there anyone on HOP who is currently or shortly will be living in holland? just moved back home and i havent found the spinning community yet confused

spinning on my own is fun, but, ya know, i gotsta find some, umm, colleagues (?).. identify yourselves! im lonely ubbcrying

that's crazy! where in gods name were all the spinners when i was living in holland?

well, that was 4 years ago i suppose..... god, could you imagine if i had seen poi 4 years ago, instead of just last summer.... i could have been good by now ! ubbrollsmile

Hey Sticky, meeting up in Utrecht sounds like a plan, stan - do some phonage tomorrow to arrange it? And I shall be sure to bring el bag and los gloves (if i can find the gloves).

So, is no-one going to post about how incredibly cool Friday was!?! Big cheer for Clare for initiating it!!!!! Thank you Clare, and hope you and everyone else in the group had a fantastic weekend in Amsterdam (and that you managed to find Rod's place on Friday night!).
How did those videos come out? Quick, upload them someone!! Did anyone get the really huge group of people spinning fire on camera?

Had to leave to early, but DAMN!!! This was great, when we left there was a large group spinning fire and it was really cool. Everybody thanks for coming. It was totally cool and Yvonne was really Impressed to.

my internet is down in utrecht.. im at home right now so thats why i didnt post on how amazingly great friday was..

also from me a very big thank you to clare for starting up this meeting and to everyone who was there, whether spinners or not, poi or staff, with or without cameras.. peace

definitely something that needs to be done again sometime..

it was great to meet everyone with who i have only talked virtually in the past: vanize, foxylady, firepoise.. and of course everyone else who was there.. sunny

But meeting on a saturday is ofcourse very well possible as well...

Thursday and friday are fine by me, so let's meet. I would love to spin on the spuiplein again, as I loved the one time I spun there. Yeah, a meeting in the Hague would be nice. Then I can use my new firepoi I just bought.

Thursday is probably a bad day to meet at the spuiplein due to koopavond, which will be extra crowded due to sinterklaas frown

There are several ways to get to the zuiderpark.

There are 4 ways to get into the park

It's fastest from Station The Haque HS, travel with tram 9 (direction vrederust)to the entrance at the melistokelaan.
