So obviously, I'm new! I just got my FIRST poi ever today in the mail (neon husky trainers!), and I'm loving it so far! I tried to make my own out of a towel (grips), some tweed, and 2 tennis balls, but they fell apart when I got tangled up... =(
I guess a little more about myself...I'm 17 and I live in Illinois, about an hour from Chicago. I really really enjoy playing my instrument (trombone) and have been for almost 9 years now. I'm going to Florida tomorrow to visit University of Miami! That's really exciting. I REALLY want to goto school there *crosses fingers* I shouldn't have a problem getting into the School of Arts and Sciences (math major) or the School of Music either, but you never can really tell. =\
Anywho, I just wanted to introduce myself (since the little header said I could!). Thanks!

if you wanna make your own poi you can just put somethng into long socks like a tennis ball. They're ace to spin with

I just wanted to say to everyone here, that it's really really kool that you are all sooo friendly. I just got back a couple of hours ago and came to check things out here, and I noticed how many people just said hi. That's sooo fun! Thanks everyone! By the way, if anyone cares, haha, UM was great! I'm trying to find out if majoring in Aerospace Engineering and Music is going to work, and if it is, I'll probably end up there. =) Thanks again!
