wavehello Hiya and allow me to be the first to welcome you to HOP bounce2 welcome bounce2

I know what you mean about it taking ages to finally get registered here, it took me a few weeks.

Try "The Art of Poi" for learning the basics, I did and thought it was great and easy to learn from; otherwise just make it up yourself, watch other people (the COL videos are good) and pay attention to conversations here about moves.

So now just enjoy the site and meet new peeps.

Hello and welcomewavehello

Have you checked the lessons on this site. It helped me loads.
Aslo try Poi Spinning by Michal Kahn. The moves are explained better in there, and the diagrams help loads as well. bounce2 bounce

If everything seems under control, your not going fast enough!

I was always scared with my mother's obsession with the good scissors. It made me wonder if there were evil scissors lurking in the house somewhere.

Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons for you are crunchy and good with ketchup.

YES WE'VE LOOKED @ THE LESSONS ON HERE AND WE HAVE THE MICHAL KHAN BOOK BUT WE FIND THEY ARE VERY CONTRADICTING WITH EACH OTHER,THE BOOK SAYS ONE THING BUT THE LESSONS ON HERE SAY SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT FOR IT!!!I DONT FIND EITHER THAT HELPFUL TO BE HONEST!

ISNT THERE ANYONE FROM SOMERSET OUT THERE?

Hey,

which part of Somerset are you from? I'm in Bristol and on my 6 weeks holidays so up for some summer spinning - should the sun stop being so shy.

>So why do you look so sad?
