I've been juggling clubs for a while.
but now I have left the confinds of London. And I'm of for a trip a round the world.
As im not in the greatness of the London juggling and spinning clubs. I thought that I would start this of to keep up with you lot.
And to keep you informed of what is out there in the big wide world.
So the latest moves that I am working on are.
1 Flats:
most of all im trying to do flat back cross.
But also 522 combos with one of the 2's caught under the leg
also box and 441's
2 stalls:
Im trying all type of stalls on different places, feet legs, shoulder and the chin.
do you have any more to add to this.
that I could be trying

A really quick question about siteswaps:
does the order of throws go right left right left....or....left right left right?
and those square brackets and "X's...are they multiplex throws? with the top ball (when palm held out, the one that is furthest away from you) is that the first or the second number?

full answer: siteswap for dummies
quick answers: yes, no - square brackets are multiplexes, numbers with an 'x' are how we describe crossing throws in sync siteswaps.
for multiplexes, imagine the shape you want the balls to take in the air and arrange them in roughly the same configuration in your hand.

I find with multiplexes and other throws the best thing to do sometimes is to just throw the balls up and see how they come down. I learnt a lot of three and four ball multiplexes (in a 5b cascade) that way. But generally the ball closest to your wrist will come down first and the ball closest to your finger tips will come down last, depending on how u throw them.
Try doing a two ball multiplex (from the same hand) getting the balls to split so that on goes high and one goes low, and practice getting as much distance between them, so the low one is very low and the high one is very high. It's a flick of the wrists.

cos 7+1+3+1= 12.
and 12/3 = 4

you devide the number you get from adding them all up, by the total number of numbers you started with. there for it would be 12/4=3.

25/5 = 5.
5 ball trick.
So can you say that you always have the same ammount of balls as you have numbers?
(oh..and ive got the 5551....not impressive in the least..but one I got from numbers alone)

on teh good news front, i found a local juggling club last night, so now i should be able to further my juggling at pace guys
im so happy about this, no longer will i have to wait to see you and not learn, i can now not learn all teh time!!!

I usually use Outlook Express Newsreader to do it.

Try playing around with the 5's in reverse cascade for ultimate kick-arse - all in reverse is nice but just one constantly in reverse is cool, but difficile

last night i did 55514 with 3 red balls and one yellow one which looks lovely cos the red ones get constantly flashed and the yellow one just goes underneath and up the sides of the pattern
i was doing (6x,4)(4,2x) last night and jonnny noticed if i do it with one less ball, it looks like a trick i learnt really recently...
martin - put this into a simulator, imagine the 4's and the 6x's to be a bit lower and see if it looks at all familiar
(6x,4)(0,2x)

got some new toys this week
5 med orange Mr babache stage balls.
and they are nice, my god are they nice.

Me, myself and I have only recently understood the numbers.
0 = empty hand
1 = pass straight along the horizontal from one hand to the other
2 = a small throw up whichy lands in teh same hand
3 = a throw at normal height from one hand to the other (like the thow in a normal cascade)
4 = a higher throw which lands in the same hand you threw with
5 = higher than a 3
6 = higher than a 4
7 = higher than a 5
Basically what no one told me... is that all the even numbers...stay in the same hand when you throw ...whereas odd numbers change hands.
Ive been waiting to see who would be the first person to do their definition of siteswap on this site for a very long time now...guess it is me then.
