I had a pretty wierd sorta day
....and at the moment i'm coming up to the final night of the winter festival, which we (the salamanca spinners 
) are spinning for.... 
At one stage in the show a friend of mine(Hardy) and I do a Jodo fight scene...all it going well until i get to an over head shot i rain it down on his staff and hear a crack,
the crowd is loving it... i hesitate then realise Hardy hasn't heard it and have to keep going the next attack was on my side so i swung and splintered my staff- i hit his staff so hard that i literally splintered the whole staff in my hands...and one end goes flying off....
[NOTE: no one but me got hurt]...so it was fairly freaked, cos i've never broken a staff spinning before and got a back up finished up and went to get a drink...
so now i need a new staff! ARGH!!
has anyone ever had a similar experience?

LOL yeah I've seen it done in a Weaponry class
the guy who had his staff broken just smiled, and picked up a staff that was literally twice the diameter of the last one...
