Monday 3rd April 2006 - 2.47pm

Woke up to the sun pouring through my window. I yanked it up, stuck my head outside and yelled "Rarrrr" as loud as I could, primal scream style. The guys who live in the house across the street were sat in their front garden, and they looked up and cheered when I emerged. smile

Wandered downstairs and made tea, and am now playin FIFA Street with Jermaine on the X-Box. How fun is my life huh?

I do this regularily, but the seagulls just squaak back.
One day I will scare them into not waking me up. One day....

Everyone roars once in a while. I would like to say that I do every day, but I missed out yesterday on account of sleeping right through with the exception of a brief stint on my psp to check the forums

This evening Mojo, Joss, Brad and I went down to Falmouth Moor to spin fire. It's called the Moor cos it used to be where the boats were moored about 200 years ago when the tide was a lot higher. Now it's like a "piazza" type area in the middle of town that all the drunken people wander through on their merry way around town. And we take their money with the aid of our Busking Hat of Doom! A very nice lad called Matt came down and gave us a cd of photos he took of us on Friday night...some of the nicest ones are in my gallery.

Friday 7th April

Woke up about 1ish and played a quick poker tourney. Came 1st ($210 better off) and then Mojo and I cleaned the house, and I ran to Tesco to do the shopping. The kids arrived with Tamsyn about half five, and i cooked spaghetti bolognaise. Once fed, we battled them into bed and tried in vain to keep them there. They finally fell asleep about ten pm. Am currently sat in the lounge with Mojo, my friend Jermaine and my housemate Jeff, watching Batman Begins. I'm trying to blag one of them into making me some tea. wink Oh yeah, and I'm playing poker. biggrin

I'm bad at poker. I lost a fortune in marbels (weird Indian sweets - a bit like skittles only much, much cheaper....) And my asking if anyone has Mr Bun the Baker seems to do nothing to lighten the mood.

I've forgotten what i came in for now....

Oh yes. Fancy a new laptop?

Faux fur and leatherette should never be used on electronics. It's just wrong, and will only hinder our spiritual development as a race.

Cantus, did you say you went to India and lost yer marbles? ubblol I doubt yer the first, and you sure won't be the last.

Sunday 9th April 9.10am

*yawn* Got to sleep about 3am this morning, after watching "Wall Street" on 5, and then reading a chunk of this. Was woken up at 9am by Izzy and Rhe demanding breakfast. Have just given them Frosties, and am now trying to stop them from making too much noise. Need tea.

Monday 10th April

03.51pm

This morning I dreamed of India. My dreams were so vivid and intense, that when I woke up, it took me a good five minutes to realise that I was actually in Cornwall. I stumbled outside to stagger to the shop and buy some Earl Grey, and the heat from the sun and the salt in the air from the sea made me long to just jump on a plane and disappear off to the tropics. The lady in the shop was friendly as ever, commenting on how nice the day is, but as I walked back up the road to mine, already putting the kettle on in my mind, I felt a deep longing to be somewhere other than where I am. It's a weird feeling, and one I've had for most of my life. It's like I'm homesick for somewhere I've never been, never lived, and for all I know may never get to.

Mmmmm, tea. smile

When I was little I told my uncle that very same thing and he said to me "Ah, so you are homesick for Timbucktoo are you?" When I was a kid I didn't even know where Timbucktoo was and it kind of made sense to me that it was there I was homesick for.

Maybe one day I'll go and see if he was right.

Ok. Woke up today at 1pm. Mo arrived yesterday, so I got up and made some tea, and had a quick shower. Then I ran to the church around the corner to rescue some *special* toys from the circus society equipment. smile Tail-chasers rule. Much better than naff old rope-darts. wink

Mo's just havin a shower, then we're gonna nip into town so I can get a hair cut, then I'm gonna quickly pack my stuff and we'll jump on the train to truro to meet up with Maus.

Then, Fal5 begins... smile

Have a good weekend all, I'm off to the beach.
