At some point I should turn this first post into a proper introduction of me but heck, you guys already know me. I initially wanted to have this just be the details on my pending trip to Scotland... which turned out quite lovely...
Feel free to post what ya' like... Here's the rest of my original post.

Practice saying "I can't believe this guy has been spinning poi for three years and he still sucks that badly" in less offensive ways! (You guys didn't do so good last year.) And BY GOD hide all of the beautiful women!!!

I don't pretend to be no Xpert about swing but i know what i like - and the rock'n'roll music just doesn't do it for me (and it doesn't "swing" either, ie jazz played almost behind the beat). I've even done lindy to some bad pop music in my time, but you gotta come back to those big bands at the end of the day ...
But ANEEEEEWAYS why are you people indulging me (a swing dancer who has no clue about any form of juggling - be it poi or otherwise) on a poi forum??? I thought everybody would be pissed off at me for stealing Glåss away from you all and trying to get him to juggle girls to swing music!

The jazz and blues festival is from the 31st July to 8th August, just in time for our return from the EJC.

Realization that I'm mentally and emotionally completely unaware that I'll be gone for two months: Check
Stumbling around the streets of London wondering where I am and why I'm not teaching my first period Chemistry class: *Pending
Sad Goodbyes to many loved ones: Check
Last night of sleep in my own bed: *Pending
4 Bottles of Vodka and 12 beers "Accidentally" left behind for my lil sister who will be house sitting: Check (I'm such a good brother )
