I'm almost always sockless when I'm where I live (house, dorm, HoP, etc). I usually don't take off my socks when I walk into someone's house, though. That would just be weird. I do, however, take off my socks when I get into bed - or if there are hardwood floors.

I was always scared with my mother's obsession with the good scissors. It made me wonder if there were evil scissors lurking in the house somewhere.
