ok so my body has decided to act completely not normal. when i was in high school, i was 5'4" tall. i've never been one for exaggerating, so i know i was that height. last year some time i checked my height again, and i was 5'3" tall. i shrunk! and i know i wasn't wearing shoes that time when i measured myself. so today i went to the doctors and they checked my height.....5'2 1/2"!!!! i'm slowly shrinking!!!!! and i wasn't wearing shoes then either, so it can't be due to the shoes!
that's the other thing....i used to wear a size 7 (american) women's shoes. my feet have slowly gotten smaller to the point where i can now wear a 5.5 in some brands (yes i know, sometimes it depends on the brand....but i can't wear a 7 in any brand shoes anymore!).
and if that wasn't weird enough, my eyes have decided to act completely not normal as well. i have had poor vision since i was a kid (near-sighted). now the normal course is your eyesight tends to get worse or stays the same. over the past 4 years my eyesight has gotten better. and not just half a point or so. i have gone up almost 3 points in each eye!! my doctor didn't believe it when i went in for my annual. because i had moved, i saw a new doctor and he thought i was lying about my eyesight until i brought him my old records.
my body is weird.
I was always scared with my mother's obsession with the good scissors. It made me wonder if there were evil scissors lurking in the house somewhere.

It may have to do with the time of day. People wake up as much as one inch taller than they are when they go to bed.
I've shrunk about a half inch since HS, too.

My eyes have also gotten better but no shrinkage that I'm aware of.
Do you slouch?

well all the times i recall measuring my height was in the afternoon, so i dunno there. and i do slouch, but not too horrible bad or often. would that make me shorter? and what about the other stuff?

Miss. Pounce, my eyes keep getting worse. It started eight years ago, and now they're horrible! -6.5 and -7.5!

No, that dont happen to me, although I have strangely put on weight over the years and I have no idea why!
But something very weird happens to me. my eyes change colour depending on time of year. They are green in the summer and grey in the winter.

My eyes change color, too! But it's not seasonal, and I don't think it's mood related. I don't know why it happens.

my eyes change color too, but they always have. they change with my mood and with what i'm wearing. different shades of green
they'll go from olive green to emerald green to even teal.i like my eyes.

when arsn wakes up in the morning his eyes are really bright sparkley green... so beautiful!!!
by lunchtime they are hazel
at nighttime they go to a mixture of green and hazel.
I love my babys eyes

i read somewhere that when people's eyes change colour,it means they are from the planet butthole..they have been sent to earth to repay some heinous crime on their home planet...they have a tendancy to staring at themselves in the mirror for long periods......
ok,i'm jealous..i have brown eyes and they never change colour.

My eyes change colour when the sun reflects in them differently, not due to my moods. I have a fleck of brown in one eye aswell, and my nan has speckled eyes, they're brown with dark brown speckles I think she was a hen in a former life.
And I just checked I'm still as tall as I was, no change.
I wouldn't mind shrinking feet, I'm size 8 (UK) (very big for females).
Hope your body sorts itself out Pounce, unless you like it???

well of course i don't mind my eyes getting better
and i have to say, i like being small. i've lost a lot of weight recently too, so i'm just getting to be this tiny lil person, and i like it.

Hmm shrinkage... my mother went through something quite the same, but with a growth before. She's always been short, then all of a sudden she gets pregnant, grows an inch and a half and 2 shoe sizes. Now her feet have shrunk, and she seems to be back to tiny size
. Oh... and her eyesight is getting a bit better too. Other than the fact that more and more people call her shorty and kiss her on the forhead, she doesn't seem to care.The only thing that ever changes on me is my eye color (green, grey, blue, brown) and the size of my boobs

Not sure if this is in any way medically possible, but.... Have you taken Depo-Provera? I know it depletes your calcium at a high rate, so maybe your bones decreased in density, therefore you lost some height? Kinda like how women get shorter when they age because they lose calcium faster when they're older, and osteoporosis and all that. I was on Depo for a year, but I don't notice any height decrease, but then I didn't measure myself before and after either.

nope, never taken depo. i can't explain it, it's just weird. saw an old friend last night and he was surprised at how i looked. he said i shrunk all around.
i lost a lot of weight too, so i'm looking quite different since a lot of people saw me last. it's rather amusing actually. I was always scared with my mother's obsession with the good scissors. It made me wonder if there were evil scissors lurking in the house somewhere.

hmmm....interesting theory. i actually know why i've lost a lot of weight, but the shorter bit and the smaller feet and the eyes, so puzzling.....

My eyes change from bright blue, to electricl blue, to dark, almost navy blue, to greenish-blue, to green, to grey, to blue grey, with random rings of yello, and orange at times. They're pretty crazy ^^
I wish I could shrink a little in all ways :S Then I could get nice shoes, and stuffs... But *shrug* I live with what I have!
