I have to say that the test is unfairly biased towards computer/engineering/physics geekiness and completely ignores an entire world called "molecular biology" which is most certainly geeky.

That's incredible, I know nothing about computers confused must have been the fantasy, wizardy, Tolkieny, D & D, collecting crap that upped the score.... and you do get bonus points for being a female geek, hmmm......

My mind not only wanders, it sometimes leaves completely smile

Wow, quite suprised by that - I was expecting a score up in the high 70's to 80's... if there'd been more 'puter questions I think I'd have scored better(?) smile

15.77%, mainly scored due to my obsession with becoming a super hero if at all possible.

There is a slight possibility that I am not actually right all of the time.

You can't blame me.

According to that test: I'm only 36.29191% == Major Geek

Which is rubbish. I think that many of the questions are more symptomatic of nerds than geeks, so...

Anyway, I'm not a corrupting influence tongue It's all UCOF, I tell you. smile

that's a bit unfair honey - i don't think i've been to a decent party in the last two years that didn't have at least two or three laptops at it... smile

and before anyone says it, yes i have been to one or two good parties in the last few years tongue

although i admit if they're used for anything other than music or lighting/visuals then they're definitely just there to attract bods and up the geek count wink

*ahem* I think setting up a network to play comupter games definitely constitutes geeky behaviour if we're going with coleman's definition - and he should know tongue wink

ps. apologies to Matthew BM for the false accusation and to konsti for underestimating his geekability rating (where are you konsti, take the quiz dammit!)

I think part of the test should be based on that you actually took the time to fill in the stupidly long questionnaire and how long you took.
And doesn't everybody want a real light saber??? and Mulder??? Those questions should be void.
And I watched the Neverending story the other day just to get over my fear of the monsters
