you should stop in Vegas along the way and say hi
i've been spinning semi-regularly. unfortunately out here there aren't really any meets or festivals like there are across the pond
that's the one thing i don't like about vegas. but i still have some friends i spin with and i've been contacted by a number of people at various times asking if they could meet up and spin. so who knows, maybe i'll be able to form my own little meets! I was always scared with my mother's obsession with the good scissors. It made me wonder if there were evil scissors lurking in the house somewhere.

The only time I've been to Vegas.... was a stopover. We were allowed to stretch our legs and get off the plane. I was amazed that there were gambling machines in the airport. I spent five bucks just so I could say, I've gambled in Vegas.
We have three more sessions after this one. After that I think we might take a break from visiting the U.S. I'm getting a bit tired of the 'random' searches that I get each and every time I fly on an american flight.
But maybe we'll get you to visit Australia?

oh i'm DYING to go visit Australia. but it's gonna be awhile before that happens. i need lots of money first and to be able to take several weeks cause there's so many people out there i want to visit.

hahaha. ironically actually, my friend used to be a diver for the shark tank at the Mandalay Bay. i don't know if he got to get in there with the sharks or if he just helped clean the tanks or whatever they do.

Well I was thinking of the Manly Aquarium. They've got several nurse sharks, stingrays, turtles, etc,.

i can imagine. that would be so much fun. i actually have never SCUBA dived and i really want to learn.

You might want to go with someone who's qualified to teach diving.
Just a thought. I can't even teach you how to sink... Buoyancy was an issue the last time. I kept rising up off the bottom, until I got more water inside the wetsuit. Then it was all good.

The funny thing about it is that I have been to the pool today, I did plent of floating ... OK maybe not floating but some swimming.

There's a pond not far from where Rozi lives, that you can feed the eels pieces of bread. They'll come right up to the edge of the water. Its the coolest thing.

That reminds me of a camping trip in Texas. We were swimming in one of the lakes and mom saw these little heads bobbing around in the water, she thought that they were turtles. They were water moccasins, we left the next morning.

Still waiting to see if I'll get a courtesy pm or email as to why it was deleted. Thinking about starting a discussion as to what guidelines the mods have for things like that, and others. Wouldn't want to think that their might be a mod who abuses their power, and just arbitrarily does whatever they want.
Would hate to think that the hoped for return of HoP's good ol'days would entail past abuses of power. First it starts with segregation of the newbies...
