Yep, I was gone but now I'm back. Went to the Fairie Festival, so much fun and I didn't want to come back. This weekend is another long one, three day family camp out. This is going to be much more relaxing than the festival.

Well...the little one has gone back to her dad's for a few days...but the boy is impossible to get rid of...I hate to say so, but I wish school would hurry up and start back for him...before I decide to strangle the lazy little slug...

I think he was talking about my boy (son), not yours...and it's cuz of his being a complete slob and not knowing how to clean up after himself...and if he doesn't start doing so, his name is not gonna be Joe...or Fido...it's gonna be MUD...cuz that's where all his stuff is gonna be...outside in the mud!!!

AND we have had HoPpers visit HQ and ask for a piece of the almighty's body. We were going to auction off his hair when he shaved it all off at the start of winter if we figured we'd be able to export it.

I've decided to live in a cardboard box... and before you assume I've completely lost my marbles, let me explain.
I've been looking for a place to live for AGES now... and having not one single bit of luck, mainly to do with the fact that the stupid @#%@#^#^ @#@#^ @$^@ @$^@^^ @$^@^ @$@$&@$ real estate agents don't seem to want someone with a job as a tenant. Almost none of them will allow you to inspect premises outside of the hours of noon to 4pm weekdays. And... well... I @#$#^ @^#@^ @$^@^# @^$@ work for a living, not dole bludge like all the freakin @#%# @#^#^ @$^@#^ @^#@ that are getting rentals instead.
Anyway... I digress... in a very unpeaceful, hippie like fashion of which I'm not proud, so... back on track.
Where was I? Oh yes... cardboard box. Well. At my 9-5 job, we're in the process of ordering a new server and I've been reliably informed that it'll come in a giant cardboard box!! And... (this is the best bit...!!)... the boxes are waterproof AND have ventilation holes...!! So... I've asked them to put it aside for me, as temporary accommodation until I find something else.
My only remaining issue is how to subdivide the box when the kids come over for the weekend.
The things people do to get away from living with their mother...

Rougie, they don't seem to want to work on weekends...cuz he's had another one that he's not going to be able to go to because they wanted him to come at either 2:00 or 3:30 this afternoon...and he can't cut work on that short a notice...so he's not very encouraged about the hunt for a new home...
Hmmm...the only problem with the zappy collar is that it would be a fight to get it on him...and he sleeps too lightly to try it when he's sleeping...so, I guess I'm just stuck with him for the moment...but maybe when I'm gone for 3 months he'll miss me and learn to appreciate his mother...maybe...

More like me...Me...ME!!! But, then again, so am I, but it's about time I did some things for myself...and for Brandi...she's not had the opportunities that he did...
Before my Mom got to where her diabetes was so bad, they used to take Joe all kinds of places on vacations...and he used to be able to go over to their house and get waited on hand and foot...his own room over there, and everything...and by the time Brandi came along, they really couldn't do all of that, anymore...so she only was able to reap the benefits of her Grandparents for a couple of years...and she barely even remembers the trips with them, considering she was so young...
We made one trip to the beach...and one to the mountains with them...and that was it...and she was only 3 at the time...
Anyhow...my point was that she's going to be able to see a whole other world...and she's almost as excited about going as I am...and she really likes Pat, too...she won't admit it...but it's rather obvious...
Ooooh...We go to have our applications for our passports processed today...so after that, all we have to do is wait...

Well, we're looking at probably some time in November...and I am gonna try to stay as long as the Visa will allow...so you'll have a three month window...and no excuses!!!
I don't have any grandparents left...my last one died when I was 14...but I have PLENTY of relatives around...I could step outside and throw a rock and probably hit one of them...if I throw it hard enough, at least!!!
Well, we're looking at probably some time in November...and I am gonna try to stay as long as the Visa will allow...so you'll have a three month window...and no excuses!!!
I don't have any grandparents left...my last one died when I was 14...but I have PLENTY of relatives around...I could step outside and throw a rock and probably hit one of them...if I throw it hard enough, at least!!!
