Claire; yeah, got the evil 3rd paper. fortunately, we were able to chose which one we wanted to go! so my readings were ok...it was my grammar that was appauling! not to mention the stuff on the exam i hadn't studied cos i didn't think we needed to study it! and as it turns out, noone else thought we needed to study it either!

Yeah, greetings and nice basics like that are good to learn.
I really wouldn't recommend the whole language though! Basic conjugations are easy...but the nuances! omg the nuances! Japanese is one big nuisance! i mean, nuance!
