yes a very good way to pass the time. and to get to know some of the older folk around. that's actually how i started talking to lightning. i randomly decided to read his intro thread. i still don't know why, just had the urge.
I was always scared with my mother's obsession with the good scissors. It made me wonder if there were evil scissors lurking in the house somewhere.

Well well well... me being the *incredibly* talented and observant person I am, I have noticed a.. what's that? A birthday cake beside Lightning's name???
So, I ran to check the calender. Lo and behold, there it was nice and big under the bold blue TODAY: Birthday: Lightning.
Holy [censored], I thought, I gotta run and give that boy some birthday glomps!

Fanks everyone!
I wound up making dinner for a very tired and hungry Patrick, who had just come back from Montreal. He felt badly that I made dinner and basically tended to him, rather than vice-versa, but the look on his face when I meet him at the door with a chilled glass of Chardonnay was worth it.
Besides, I told him "you owe me one." So he gets to come up with a proper birftay celebration for me at a later date. Tonight, my co-op is throwing me a partay.
And that's just about it about that.
