Howdy yall!
Wish I had my old intro thread, but will have to make do with what I can.
Interests: Poi (OF COURSE!), dancing, playing the violin, swimming, listening to music...and the list goes on...
Occupation: Well as of right now I'm working till I get my bill paid off to the uni. I work at a local vet office as a kennel tech. I love it alot and get to work with animals. I am responsible for feeding/watering, medicating, bathing/dipping dogs and cats.
What I Want to be When I Grow Up I would like to see myself working at a zoo with different types of animals. I would love to be the person showing them to children and on tv shows.
Been spinning since October 2002
Been using fire since January 2003
Will continue to spin til whenever...
I hope to see some old friends and meet some new ones here!

I know been busy doing stuff. I hardly see you on MSN, but I do see you alot on AIM. Do you use AIM more than MSN? I seem to prefer my AIM to most other messengers. I guess because I'm so used to it.
I'll try and be online more often. I'm either working, sleeping, or at Dio's chiiilin

I got a $5 dollar tip today from a dog's owner! Just for giving the dog a bath! I feel a bit odd receiving such a thing because that is part of my job as a kennel tech. I have to have all the dogs that were boarding bathed on the day they are scheduled to go home.
What's kinda funny is that same dog a few weeks ago had a run in with a skunk and so one of the other girls had to bath him and get rid of the horrid skunk stench. The owner gave her a $20 tip!

I bought the collectors edition DVD box set of Aliens Quadrilogy!
I bought they 9 disc set even though I don't have a DVD player of my own yet

Yesterday Dio gave me my Christmas gift!!!
He took me to get my ears re-pierced!
They are aquamarine colored crystal with titanium posts! Aquamarine is my birthstone btw...March birthstone that is
He also bought me a stuffed animal of a lioness to go along with my wild kitty collection!
I went ahead and gave him his Christmas gift as well. I had bought him a pair of bucket seat covers for his 'Stang. They are redish wine colored in the background with metalic flames on them. The flames match his silver colored car very well!
I will be going home to TX on Wednesday and will return on Saturday sometime for Christmas. So I will be sure to fill yall in on what all I got and got to do while at home.
If I don't get to get back on here due to some reason...Like work *smirk*, then I'm gonna go ahead right here and right now say Merry Christmas to you wonderful people out there in the beautiful world of HoP!

Well I was back in WF for Christmas. Arrived on Christmas Eve and left the following Saturday. It was unusual in the fact that it was spent over at my grandmothers old house where my fam is moving into. Christmas day consisted of me decorating the tree while dad was at work and everybody else was getting the fridge to be moved into the new place. I got a vaccume cleaner for Christmas..Hey I needed one so don't laugh!
The next day I went with a friend to the mall and got a new outfit and schtuff. Didn't do anything to extraodinary.
Oh did find out that one of the Dallas Cowboy's Cheerleaders used to babysit me and my bros.
I remember her vaugly. Anywho, Dad works with her mother at the post office and so she was able to get her daughter to personally sign a calander with her in it and all the rest of the cheerleaders too! They personally said "to kaleb...then whatever messege fit the month".
I'm sorta jealous because it is a really neat thing to get and the fact this will only inflate his ego even more.
My dog Dolly can't keep food down for some reason. She ends up throwing it back up. She has lost alot of weight and is turning into skin and bones! My fam is gonna take her to the vet to see what is the matter with her. I hope nothing too serious. I love that dog.
Well that is all for now so I will let yall know what else goes on later :P -Tiff

Does she eat any grass it might be a bactreia ?. How bout cattel pod peas . I've watched hoarses eat them and get really sick and die in a similar way .
Don't worry about it after all it only the cowboys cheerleaders . Not even half as good as the Mav's OR ROCKETS

Well hadn't been here to update lately so decided I would...
First off my dog is doing better. She is gaining her weight back and is starting to keep her food down better. Still don't know what caused her not to in the first place.
Second semester of classes have begun already...And it sucks! I miss taking classes! I see everybody passing me and going on to take classes I wish I could.
Stupid outstanding bills!
Kinda got ticked at work the other day. Somebody I considered a friend blamed me for something she was supposed to do and didn't. But the vet didn't get mad at me because my job is not to label the animals that come in and it is not to make sure the patients info is on the board.
I know I will never be able to trust her like I used to.
That same person was fired Friday, but was asked to stay and train the new lady for 2weeks and to fill in where needed for another 3 weeks til she can find another job. That isn't that bad except our vet went and hired the new lady on the Tuesday BEFORE my friend was fired!
She only found out because the new lady had told some people who knew my friend and so they called and asked her why she was leaving. My friend didn't even know she had been replaced!
Our boss is a good vet, but a not so good boss and person. He is anal about every little small detail. When he is in a bad mood over any little thing he shows it towards us. He yells and gets pissy with us when we aren't doing stuff fast enough, etc.
One of the clients commented on how 2 rabies vaccines were missing from the rest of vaccines to be administered to some pups. The girl pulling them up was not finished with them when the vet took them into the exam room. She figured they were all there. The client and another tech in the exam room heard the vet yell at the girl for not having the rabbies vacc's ready with the rest of them. The client said "it wasn't that big of a deal".
It sucks when you work and don't know if the boss is gonna be in a good mood or a bad mood, and whether he will yell at you for something that really isn't worth getting yelled at in the first place

Is it just me or is HoP becoming more and more boring lately?
I don't know this post is more along the lines of needed to vent feelings and get everything off of my chest. Not looking for pity or simpathy here guys. Just for my own peace of mind. I want to vent what I want about HoP. I am not asking for people to respond or anything. Just let me post.
I hate it whenever I post something and nobody really seems to care what I posted. Either because they may not like me or don't find the subject interesting or pertaining to them.
I dislike it whenever our group posts a vid and the ONLY members mentioned is the 2 who are considered good to learn by. The rest of us just want some criticism as well. It's like we are not there and that the only reason people download the vids is to see those two members. I guess you can say I don't really care much anymore. Whenever me and the other forgotten members tried to voice our concerns and problems about not getting criticized, we were ruled out as wanting "attention" and that we should be quiet and such. How we don't practice enough and can never compare to the two outstanding members of our troup. I'm not saying I resent those two members of ours...Don't get me wrong...I love them to death and they have helped the rest of us find our spinning and stuff. It's just whenever it comes to the rest of HoP we aren't seen as anything really. I feel like we are just fill in parts.
I try posting in intro's too like most of yall, but I don't think I can add much to what has already been said. I try and post in some of the intro's but nobody really seems to visit mine, unless I hint at it or something.
I'm not asking for attention, I am just venting, I want yall to remember that. I am not crying out for help I am just getting what has been buggin me for the longest time off my chest.
HoP is starting to feel like there is nothing here for me really. I try and add my oppinions and input, but I don't think it is going to add to what has already been previously posted up-teen times already.
Don't get me wrong though...I will still visit and add some of me to this wonderful place. I just won't be doing it very much anymore.
My spinning I have noticed has sort of plataued(sp). I don't really want to learn the very technical moves, because they don't really interest me and I feel like I need to work on the moves I already know. But at the same time I feel like the moves I do now are boring and that's why nobody really gives me any critism on the vids.
HoP just seems somewhat unfriendly towards Americans. I don't like visiting this place and reading titles to threads about American's being bad and greedy. I am an American. I do have my own oppinion on matters, but I pretty much choose not to voice it because I know that I am the minority and that no body will ever really see my side on issues. It will just result in a fight and feelings getting hurt.
Sorry if you had to read this post. Like I said I just wanted to vent. I wonder if anybody else feels like I do?
Is it just me or is HoP becoming more and more boring lately?
I don't know this post is more along the lines of needed to vent feelings and get everything off of my chest. Not looking for pity or simpathy here guys. Just for my own peace of mind. I want to vent what I want about HoP. I am not asking for people to respond or anything. Just let me post.
I hate it whenever I post something and nobody really seems to care what I posted. Either because they may not like me or don't find the subject interesting or pertaining to them.
I dislike it whenever our group posts a vid and the ONLY members mentioned is the 2 who are considered good to learn by. The rest of us just want some criticism as well. It's like we are not there and that the only reason people download the vids is to see those two members. I guess you can say I don't really care much anymore. Whenever me and the other forgotten members tried to voice our concerns and problems about not getting criticized, we were ruled out as wanting "attention" and that we should be quiet and such. How we don't practice enough and can never compare to the two outstanding members of our troup. I'm not saying I resent those two members of ours...Don't get me wrong...I love them to death and they have helped the rest of us find our spinning and stuff. It's just whenever it comes to the rest of HoP we aren't seen as anything really. I feel like we are just fill in parts.
I try posting in intro's too like most of yall, but I don't think I can add much to what has already been said. I try and post in some of the intro's but nobody really seems to visit mine, unless I hint at it or something.
I'm not asking for attention, I am just venting, I want yall to remember that. I am not crying out for help I am just getting what has been buggin me for the longest time off my chest.

This will pass believe me...I felt "stuck" for moves for almost 6 months...and then along comes the next learning spurt... while the pleateau is there do practise your other tricks!!!it will help your transitions
I personally do not have anything against americans... some of the most awesome people on this forum are americans and I love them all...
When I first came to hop I found that people tended to ignore my posts... all it took was to get to know more people on the board and then there is so much more to relate to...please dont ever feel left out... that is not the vibe of HOP... we all accept you..

hey tiffy...i'm sorry you're feeling that way. i've been having some issues with HOP lately with posts not showing up as new even though i haven't read them. otherwise i'd probably have been by earlier.
i'm with you on the spinning too. i hit a plateau some time ago, and i started to lose some interest. but then i hit a point where i was suddenly wanting to learn new tricks and being able to actually pull them off. i think it happens to the best of us. there are fluctuations and sometimes you just hit your ceiling (metaphorically) and that's it. if you feel happy with where you are, it doesn't really matter what anyone else thinks. i haven't watched your group's videos recently so i couldn't tell ya what your style looks like, but i have this bad habit of not watching videos anymore because then i just get discouraged that i'm never gonna get that good
