My last post in that thread was November 17th in reply to Joe Sixsteps as follows:

What am I doing living in the UK again?

Although if the latest news is true - in 20 years Europe could be as cold as Alaska. Of course by then my prime snowboarding years will be behind me and my zimmer frame will have to be put on skis. Bloody fantastic!

So out with the old and in with the new. However there will still be lollies and hugs and cups a tea on offer.

Hey J, Alls dandy with me if not a bit manic. Franctically trying to catch up with case studies after been sturck down with a cold for over 2 weeks and on Sunday I will be massaging sweaty people after running the London Marathon. Busy but 'its all good'!

So what news with you? When you taking off travelling - did you hand your notice in yet? Did you find yourself a new place!

In the middle of 'negotiations' with our own landlord. I love our house but sadly its falling apart and in need of tender loving care and if the landlord doesn't kick the cash in to fix the multitude of problems we shall be leaving in August frown But we are hopefuly that this time having been given an ultimatum, he'll get his ass in gear.

Have a fabadoobie weekend beerchug

Jon hug thanks for coming round to play. I hurt today - I think My Biceps got bigger after yesterday - my right arm is looking almost Popeye like, or perhaps thats all the Spinach Kota and Bex feed me.

Pink - how you doing sweets? Life is great - rather hectic - but great! How about you? Going to Synergy on Saturday? Should be a rather splendid night of frolicing? Hope to see you there

Hurrah indeed! No more living in fear of been eaten alive by my couch! That is indeed a relief. Have to see how soon the landlord will get started on all the changes before I start feeling settled!

Don't take no stick from landlords. When in doubt stop paying them the rent. They get the message fair quick then. Though be carefull, that's why we had 3 days to leave our last place ubbidea ubbangel

Thanks for sig compliments GottaLoveIt- Yeats is one of my favourite poets.

Funnily enough - I kept your experience in mind when making ultimatums! We contacted the agency and told them if improvements were not made that we would be moving out in August, which gives the landlord until the end of May to make changes or we give our notice to leave. We've been good tenants so hopefully he will get his ass in gear.

Finally some activity happening, a builder is coming round tomorrow - to what extent things will be fixed I don't know. Over a month without a fridge that works properly and heard today that our fridge will now be delivered next Saturday. rolleyes
So far its looking like we won't have to move but I'm not going to get too settled yet just in case - well whether we leave or not, will definitely be organising a party at 149 either July 10 or 2nd week in August and I hope I will have 2 lovely princesses to help make the tea and pass round cucumber sandwiches biggrin

James will you be joining us for some evening tea this year biggrin hug

Alas I'm not going to fairytales this weekend frown have a wonderful time and hugs and birthday wishes to Lisa from me, I have deadlines to meet next week and I want to get all done by Monday so I can enjoy the rest of my week. I hope to see you at Spitz on Tuesday so I can get the MD from you then.

I will indeed darling. smile

Not sure when though. It'll be somewhere between the 12th of July and the 7th of August.

I work my last day in this shithole on the 9th of July and I need to fit the EJC in somewhere in between. biggrin

Decided to go to the Glade festival or not? Booked time off - hurrah!

Also booked my flights to go to Eire from Jul 24th for a week. Another wedding to go to, alas Kota can't get the time off work, was going to invite Enda but as when I first met the future groom, we had a 'discussion' when he said being gay was wrong, it might not be fair to Enda!

Hope your weekend was a good one. As you can see I'm stuck on a computer instead of sitting outside enjoying the sunshine. Back to work so I can catch some rays before sundown smile

Heya Kat. I haven't decided yet. I've too much to sort out first like visa's and flights to Thailand. I'm feeling under pressure at the mo. I may well come but it'll be last minute me thinks.

I didn't realise Enda was gay till after the fact but I know what you mean. I'd (cheekily redface) offer to attend with you but I don't think I'll be round here at that time.

I'll be in England just before that though so I hope to see you then. I'll let you know what I'm at once I've organsed myself. Me and Aoife have decided to aim for New Zealand in January ubbrollsmile so that's one less thing on my mind smile

Ta for thoughts of accompanying me but truly - anyone who does not play gaelic football or is even from outside Westmeath is going to be a novelty biggrin Think you'd be a bad influence on me anyhow - we'd be popping out for smoke and spins every 5 minutes ubbrollsmile

Hurrah for NZ plans - good news indeed!
Hope to catch up with you when you are over and will hopefully be coinciding with some kind of party, will keep you posted! Week I'm in Eire is EJC is it not? To make up for that sadness and not been able to hook up with the lovely Cassandra I think I will catch some time in Galway if I can escape for a day or 2. Ah Galway in summer ubblove

These are my rough plans at the minute.

Looking at flying over there on the 12th of July to Birmingham. Spend week with Mom. Then meet Aoife on the 19th in England somewhere. Go to juggling convention in Lile from 25th July to 1st August. Get back here by the 9th. We have rough ideas about the inbetween but it's not written in stone yet.

Booked my flight to Thailand today for the 9th of August. ubbrollsmile ubbrollsmile

Galway's deadly so it is. ubblove As you can see I'll be round at the time of the Glade but I don't think I can afford it I'm afraid, I've got to try spend some time with my mother anyway....

I defo'd've gone if I could've convinced Aoife but alas not to be. Dreadzone and Luke Vibert will have to wait for another day frown
