Posted: their name is ATASH (which sounds exactly like my name, just without the "ee" at the end) well, they are my favorite band right now at least. i go dance with them every week religiously. they play middle eastern fusion that ventures into drum and bass, jazz, and even classical. they have a badazz jazz drummer, fat upright bass, two virtuoso violins, and an unbalievably incredible african drummer. here are their upcoming tour dates: definitely worth checking out:

Posted: They sound like a great band... Santa MOnica would've been the closest for me but I didn't see the post until you bumped it - plus it's still like an hour and a half away so I probably wouldn't have made it on a Moday!! Thnks for sharing and I'll look for them in the future...
