For those interested there will be the first Poi in the Park in Rotherham starting on the Sat 12th July. It will be held at Clifton Park.
We will be meeting at 5ish at the bandstand, then moving on to the main field.
For anyone who is unsure where to go, just email or pm me and i'll help out as much as i can.
Hope to see plenty of people there, Thanx, Astrofaerie.

gutted i couldnt make this one but hope it rocked... i was having fundraising party and thanks to Ardiente we had great balls of fire and have officially introduced poi to lots of unsuspecting guests!
keep us posted on more gatherings, i'll see you in September. Oh and if you are in the cheshire area watch out coz i'm thinking we need to poi in a park there too!

The next Rotherham Poi in the Park will be the 9th August, meeting in Clifton Park at the bandstand around 6pm. We will be staying at the bandstand and NOT moving on to the main field. We found that there is plenty of space and no need to move to a larger area. If you are parking in the museum car park at the top of the park, just follow the main path which leads off the bottom of the car park. This will lead you down towards the bandstand. As usual, any problems, please contact me in plenty of time. Cheers.

Had a great time in London, even tho i missed the sheff PiP, but just to remind everyone, the Rotherham PiP is not far away. We are making it a later time of 6pm to meet as we found that 5pm was a bit too early for everyone, and people got tired early on. Hopefully we should be staying late so some fire looks promising. Hope to see peeps there!.

Wohhooooooo!! , only a week or so to go! i'm all excited now, lets hope the weather holds out nice for us eh?. I dont think it would be very easy to use poi while holding an umbrella. Although i saw a really weird one in London that you just strap to your head so you don't have to hold it .

Im going!! is it on the 9th or the 16th lady? I cant remember
Vicky wont be able to come as she will be in orkney. booooo. though i shall tell ppl tonite as i am going to the charters. By the way, the wether is looking up so im gonna bring suncream and an umbrella just in case.
Im gonna bring my own staff this time an attempt to learne stuff with it so i will also need to bring plasters.

Well if i havent already moved to leeds by this time next week then i'll be there,astonishing those gathered with my complete lack of coordination,skill or eyebrows.You'll be able to spot me;I'll be the one trying to beat out the flames on his head.
For some reason i've also started playing with staff,but so far have only suceeded in mild concussion.If anyone wants to show me a few moves then id be eternally greatfull(i might even buy you a pint!!

I have had some freindly advice of The Silver Shadow, and have been recommended not to stay too late at the bandstand. Therefore i suggest that we stay there as long as possible, but if we have any problems with 'unruly' types turning up, we move on to the main field. So anyone who turns up and we aren't at the bandstand, we will be on the main field. I know this is short notice, so i apologise. But i'm thinking of overall safety etc. Thanx guys.
