Autumn is well and truly here and winter is approaching rapidly. And so PiP shall hibernate until next year.
But not without one last spin on a winter's day! On November 1st we have some special guests in town:
Cassandra - Exquisitely beautiful dancer and world famous French Frog
Shibaki - Barefooted extraordinaire from Florida
PK - Pierced wonder and founder of PiP
Nat - The spinning angel with a killer smile
So to celebrate we're going to hope the sun shines and have a PiP!
Thanks to everyone who made it down to PiP this year, espically you hardcore spinners who were there come rain, wind and cold! It's been a wicked summer!

Therir is a serously uncool event on sunday
"THE SUN FOOTBAL EVENT" on the common mabie we should think of a diffrent venue, their are few things worse than 5000 drunken football fans, but im not to sure of start finish times but will try to find more info .

info on football event, their fencing off a area of it coz you have to pay to get in it only from 10-6pm, think it should be ok and it is in a good cause GOSH charity. ERM is every body still going??????

how did the day in the park go on the 28th July? I was interested in going but I heard the Urban Games were on...did it interfere with your picnic? Iv'e been Urban Games before and it takes up most of the Common, right near the bandstand where you all are meant to be meeting
is the next Poi in the Park August or September?
Hope to get along to some events and meet some Hop'ers

need a quick answer please..............will the PiP be on late afternoon to evening as I reeeeaally want to come but don't fancy suffering the long tube train journey in this heat, want to come when its a bit cooler in the early evening if possible, also whats the advice on kids, are they welcome? Is there fire? I have a pretty cool 12yr old, but my 2yr old boy is a bit of a live wire..... (not) should I leave him home with dad? Help and advice from any regular PiPers very welcome. If I can't come this sunday then I will definitely make it next weekend when I can leave both kids at home..... .....thanx

It does go on into the late evening (normally aeound 10pm)
It's compeletly up to you about the children but i know the 12yr old would be fine!

So, it was good. I didn't set myself on fire, though I came close. We met Jessica (woo!) and the lovely Lolli let me spin her fire ropes (definitely woo!). We met up with Kinudin (also woo!) and Lolli did her insane contortionist trick again for Kinudin's dad to film, this time. Frostypaw was there too, and had some electro-glow poi, which I seemed to keep breaking. Coleman, Martin and DsAds turned up just before it got dark, and flid did some fire too. Yet another pleasant (if a little hot) sunday afternoon!
