Posted: OK guys I have a new wrap that I have taught myself, Dom has seen it at Glastonbury (well half of it anyway and now I have completed the second half.
The Move
Start with Forwards Weave (3-beat). As poi are both on RHS of body and about to come back to LHS - stick right leg out and wrap both poi. Pull back on the chains and now you come out into reverse weave. As both poi are on LHS of body you can now do the double wrap on left leg and come back into forwards weave.
I hope I have explained this well enough , I am trying to get some video but I recently upgraded my computer and the damn editing software dosent work with fecking windoze XP

That must look pretty damned smooth.
I've been trying something like that but using my arms.
Exactly the same set up, just a different body part, mines as sloppy as a school dinner though.
*Oh, just for a minute,* my bed said. "Don't lie to me," I grumbled. *But you're so tired...*

Posted: yeah thanks sub - it has become a lot smoother with practice, word of warning to blokes though this is not one to try in shorts if you have a lot of leg hair!!!
Posted: That sounds wicked, I'll have to give it a try! Well done my friend Much love, dromepixie

It's a nice move. Doing it with arms is harder, but looks cool if from forward weave you swing both poi under your right arm, wrap, back to reverse, then wrap over left arm.

Posted: lol, no worries Dom. It isn't often that I have a chance to share a new move
I am still working on the double arm wrap that you showed me but not having too much success at the moment
Hope to make it to Nodnol soon for one of the meets and I will probably be in a much better state to pick up a few tips

Posted: I was playing with this last night. Another variation for you. From forward weave on right hand side take left hand to left hand side and wrap under the left arm. At the same time take right poi behind your back and wrap over left arm. Then you're into a butterfly, and should be able to repeat the move on the right, but I didn't mange to do this. Did the first bit, and now have a nice burn to show for it!

Posted: lol, nice one dom, I have been practicing trying different wraps, the beaming balls are pretty good for this but they dont half hurt when you go wrong
Going to try and weight my electroglo's a little cos they are really nice to wrap but are a little too light.
I have a couple of nice shaped burns on my forearms too from trying my wraps with someone elses poi! (got sunburnt on the Sunday at Ashton Court Festival so didnt bring out my poi but as soon as Emma lit up I had to have a play with fire!)
Anyway enjoy - I am not to sure about all this 'just throw the other poi behind your back and wrap' business I think I need to try and get the BTB weave down first
