so how else can you do weaves and other moves listed? i don't quite understand the definition of 5-beat moves. It's not like you can do a weave any other way right? then again, maybe its just that TK<----Newbie. ------------------I'm a FF fan. So what?Live by honor. Kill by stealth. The 5 beat weave means that the Poi do a total of 5 revolutions on one side of your body before moving to the other side.Take the weave for example. If the poi are on your left side, the right poi will complete 2 revolutions while the left poi does 3.Check out the poi lessons on the HOP for a better explination.------------------'There is a fist pressing against anyone who thinks something compelling'

ok lets clarify beats...For Weave Beats = How many times a poi passes your leg on each side before passing to the opposite side.For corkscrew/windmill beats = How many times a poi passes your chest(corkscrew) or face (windmill) before passing above/behind your head. ------------------The Sand...The Surf...
