"These poi are an all around great practice poi for any skill level. The only con would be that they are fairly light compared to most wicks so you might have to adjust when you are throwing fire. Other than that I recommend their durability."

"Very nice set of poi. The rubber handles have got some great grip and they spin very nice. This was my first set of poi and after having used them quite a lot over the last couple of days I am very pleased! However there is one thing I would warn at least a beginner as my self about. The way the ball grips are shaped the rope will cause some friction against your fingers and the angle of the poi can change if not careful. I now understand that I should have gone for the slightly cone shaped ball grip with the swivel bearing to have a more comfortable grip(My own fault). Other than that Im super pleased and can t wait to learn more."

"My Poi arrived quickly and the tracking worked well. The Poi are sturdy and weighted nicely. I gave 4 instead of 5 stars because the string which is knotted (or kept in the silicon balls somehow is not attached - this causes the length of the string to get shorter when spinning lightly. Still, have been enjoying them, and will use on a regular basis."

Perfect, if you can avoid hitting yourself.
"I'd give them 4.5 stars if I could. These poi are great. My only issue is that the heads are quite hard, and pack a fair wallop when they hit you/each other. Perhaps a slightly softer plastic head akin to the material of the handles would make them completely perfect. But maybe if you're a better spinner than I am, and can generally avoid collisions, they'd be perfect for you :)"

"My first order of contact poi didn't go very well. It took much longer than promised but they came and I was happy enough with the quality to order two more sets. The second sets came quicker, however, the string thickness was MUCH thinner than the first batch. Since there was nothing in their order form which allowed me to select thickness I wrote customer service asking why they came differently. Essentially, I was told it was my fault with no offer to make things right. Given there are dozens of providers and I have several more orders to make this year, I'll be going with another vendor."

Reply from Home of Poi: "Home of Poi support has contacted this customer back, the pendulum poi ordered were a Flex poi which do have the thinner rope. We have provided returns information once the customer informed us they would like to return the product. As the customer was still not 100% satisfied a full refund without product return was provided."
