"Monkey fist poi are stunning poi to work with my personal favourite as they are incredibly smoth to spin perfect for wraps and the fact that they are incredibly well weighted make them perfect for throws or isolations. However they do hurt a bit more if you hit yourself with them and lets face it we all do but they are also very durable (you'll break your head before you break your poi). amazing comet effect and the chains are astounding quality and easily adjusted. A++++"

"These are only my second set of poi since I starting to spin so I may be over-stretching myself but they are absolutely fantastic! The extra weight's letting me do some nice slower spins (and teaching me to be a little more cautious - watch that crotch :S) and they even look pretty cool unlit - not yet had a legit' chance to fire 'em up. The only down side(?) - they're so much fun I keep giving myself blisters!!!"

"I love these I had a pair of these before with Nylon handles and i got leather double loops on my new one. The difference is incredible I have more contol and balane I can hit my Anti-spins and isolations perfect. They're nice and heavy for great balace yet light enough for control. I recomend these if you're ready for more difficult moves and stalls and isolations they're perfect."

The linking piece that allow a rotation of the ball with the chain makes me feel a little weird in the control but it's interesting. It is just a matter of time to be used to. Even when I'm not performing i still find myself using this poi without flame during the day they just feel so perfect! Never have i seen such rugged construction I can finally do tangles and hyper loops without having to worry about the chains breaking or the wicks flying off the end. The leather straps are surprisingly comfortable to spin with yet they're extremely durable. I've used many different types of fire poi in the past and these are most certainly the best i've ever used. Worth every penny!"
