Good for indoor/outdoor practice
"The tails were detachable which was great when i wanted to practice indoors. Also i'm Still learning, so the tails get tangled a lot. removing them at the onset helped in learning new moves."

"The only reason this is not a 5 star rating is because it had no provision for finger loops. You have to twirl it around your fingers or create a knot. Still Figuring out the best way to use this but its my preferred poi for indoor practice and learning new moves because it's softer and doesnt hurt as much when u get smacked in the head."

Big but does the job
"The bag is very much too big for the spider-firefans I bought here. I would actually suggest homeofpoi to make it in 2 or more different sizes, so that your can pick the one for your size of firefans and don't have to feel like your extra clumsy and bouncing in to people because you are carrying around extra air ... It does the job tho, and has been used almost every day for 2 weeks without any noticeable tear and wear. You could probably easily have 3-4 firefans in it at once (if not more). And I have easily fit firefans, extra clothing and repair-supplies(not that it has been needed) when making trips to the park for practicing."

Juggling Handle and Chain
"The handles are nice, they don't hurt if you get cracked on the knuckles. They make for smooth catches while juggling, my only dislike is the clip that attached the chain to poi, it comes undone to easily and causes your poi head to fly off, I fear spinning with fire would create a real comet in an unfortunate direction... solution might be a carribeaner."

The silicone knobs took a brief bit of adjusting to. I found them odd to begin with but I tuned myself to use them fairly quickly. They're designed more for the contact poi style of throwing and catching but still work great for general poi play. Home of poi also allowed me to alternate the colour of the two cords which was awesome. Definitely reccomend"

Great but slightly flawed
"Great clarity and weight. Has a slightly grippy texture to it, which is a good thing in my opinion. Absolutely love the color (Azure Blue) Sadly though, mine had a small defect from the manufacturing process. There is a small line of white acrylic through the center of the ball, creating a hardly noticable tell mark. Glady this one is just for practice."

Nice yellow ball
"My delivery was super duper fast! The ball is a great body rolling ball with some good mass to it! I give it four stars instead of five because it is not perfectly weighted and not mentioned this ball will have a tiny hole drilled into it(to vent or exhale air if the surrounding temperature drastically changes hot or cold) to keep it from flatening. Store it on its squishy foam pad to keep it round. A literal bright side about this ball is that it glows under UV backlight! It wins me over with that feature! "

The devil sticks are nicely

Woulda been 5 stars but...
"Love these poi! They are really slick. Ordered two pair, sadly one of the buttons broke off the second pair after 30 minutes of use. The switch itself seemed to have just snapped off of itself. Hope I can get it repaired here somewhere. The other set has no issues yet except maybe it likes to eat batteries. "

Great training contact ball
"These ball are simply wonderful for the small price to pay for them! The only reason I did not give them a perfect 5 star score is that they are not perfectly weighted ( they wobble when spun quickly in the air) but still body roll perfectly around as a chest roll. That is my hard core nit picking of this product by the way. The color is great and spot on. These HOP balls clean off wonderfully with warm water and soap and don't have much give when dropped so they don't bounce away on you, very forgiving to use. When I go busking they are great to show people how to do it without the worry of them breaking your acrylic ones! Love it H.O.P. will be buying more in the future!"
