Flat fronts are a versatile technique that can add a lot of visual variety to your rings routine. The pattern used in this video is tennis, with the blue ring being the "tennis ball."

P.S.--The flat front throws in this video are all outside throws (your throwing on the outside of your body), but you can likewise flat front inside throws (where your arms cross your body).

Tips/Hints
When you're throwing a ring from the front, a lot of the spin usually comes from your wrist. When you throw from the side, your wrist's power is limited by your position, so your elbow will play a bigger role in your throws.
