Many many thanks to all that helped me learn, especially Fluff and Judith (Kali). Having got the hang of the hip thing, i proceeded to try and do contact staff at the same time. Waist wraps worked, as did neck rolls, and I even managed to do a steve whilst hooping. The possibilities are mind boggling!

Silly.
Hid under the Uber-teachers tarp for a bit while the rain persisted, then snuck back outside to play some more. Having been instructed to learn doubles by Strugz, I grabbed him and Meg and forced them to teach me. Learned some basic stuff, but enough for me to be going on with for now.
