It's the house hunting. And the fact that with every day that passes I'm running out of time and I can see myself having to move out over Christmas only to move back in with my parents.
The thought of not finding a house and having to move back in with my parents makes me feel like such a failure

It's not failure...
It's happened to me several times. In the past five years I've moved in and out of my parent's three times. It definitely helps you get your head together and remember that whilst independence is a good thing that family will always be there to back you up if needed...
It's just a case of being flung off by the horse rather than just falling off it. In both instances you can just get back on it.
If you do have to move in again with your parents then it makes it easier to look for a place without the stress of having a deadline to do it in. And the brightside is that it's rent-free (presumably...)
but if you manage to find a place before the deadline then hooray!

Got an inspection lined up today for a place I'm really interested in...here's hoping they can see past their prejudicial noses and approve my application if I like it.

well I applied for it.
it was smaller than what I thought it would be, but for the price and the area it's what can be expected. but don't like my chances given the sheer volume of people who were at the inspection!

coming home on the tram last night (finished earlier than usual and sooooo glad i wasn't riding) there was a fight on Chapel St and a guy got beaten with a crowbar.
CQ, I won't know about pole dancing til I get my work roster which I'll get tomorrow night

yeah it was fricken scary! i was quite shaken up about it! the tram slowed down as we passed it (i think the tram driver was calling the police) and it was really full on! ...i nearly started crying on the tram it was that scary
