Former Cirque du Soleil Fire Dancer, Choreographer & Coach, Srikanta Barefoot will be teaching all levels Poi and Staff workshops in Las Vegas on Saturday, June 4. This workshop will focus on all levels of technique, transitions & choreography designed to offer a fun & rhythmic way to learn, practice & review new curriculum. Students will be challenged & shown ways to incorporate full body movement, dance & even acrobatics into their performance. Expect to be challenged and have fun!

ABOUT SRIKANTA BAREFOOT
Considered a pioneer in the fire arts, Srikanta Barefoot has combined a lifetime of experience as an actor, dancer & a natural talent for object manipulation to create an energetic, expressive & acrobatic style of fire dance that is entirely unique. As a self-taught fire artist, he combines a variety of influences, including capoeira, modern dance, tumbling & other martial arts into his performance. In addition to his performance onstage, offstage Srikanta is a valued choreographer, coach & director. With an extensive performance history, he has independently coordinated every technical, business & creative aspect of his performance for nearly every type of venue. His other talents include the cyr wheel & body percussion. He is also a certified yoga instructor.
