Hey all, just registered because I'm looking to meet up with fellow Spinners.
My name is Tom Fletcher. I'm a Brit in New Zealnad on a working holiday, currently in Mt Maunganui. If you're nearby give me a shout.
I've got 2 sets of poi with me, but I left my fire poi at home :-( Thinking of getting some glo-balls to use with my sock poi as a replacement.
A bit more about me:
I'm a chemistry graduate. My real job is doing industrial research. I like watersports too, especially sailing. I'm a sailing and powerboat instructor. I'm a bit of a computer geek as well, and I develop websites as a hobby. The wingspeed of an unladen swallow is over 9000. Godzilla would beat a star destroyer if he had a cowbell. And British Marmite > Nutella > NZ Marmite.

Excellent choice on the Marmite. I can see you shall not attract squirrels.

You've obviously never tried baked marmite.
roll a sheet of pastry, spread marmite on. cut into strips and roll up. brush some milk on top and bake until pastry cooked. mmmm.

Sprinkled with grated tasty chedday before baking is even better (vegemite also works, nutella doesn't. :p)

Ohh I've never tried that. tbh, i would never have thought of it, but i can see strangely how they would work well together.
I'm not sure what nutella is good for.
