So I love fire. What else can I say....

I'm 28 or 29, I can't remember.... Yeah, I think I'm 29.

I have been dancing with fire for exactly one year now, Chicagoland area. Born and raised in the mountains, though, not actually from "Chi-town". Looking around in Minnesota for some livin' but that depends on finding any fire friends. My favorite fire friends are ones that like to construct equipment and design new things. I have built and know some AWESOME builders of cool fire toys.

Wanna know anything in particular?

October is awesome! That is why I ripped all of the other months out of the HoP calender.

Well the attachment is over rated, it's a questionnaire that lets people know a little about your interests. the most important question is do you prefer *Nutella*<----(pick this one), Marmite<----(poison made by Satan), or Vegemite<----(acceptable but not as good as Nutella) but I will accept Peanut Butter as well.

HoP is quiet lately, but the rest of the welcome wagon should be along soon.

Awesome, hello, welcome!!!

And I never got Wicked-the-book... the ideas in it are more interesting and less deus ex machina than the play, but the way it's presented, I find hard to read.

Course I'm a Prattchet fan and require humorous footnotes at least once per chapter

Welcome to the madness, friend. Feel free to ask for anything you need.

I'm actually trying to start getting into gear dev and production, starting with a personal pair of torch poi then a new fire hoop for my sister. My goal is to know how to build everything standard and then know how to build better versions of those things by next august. I also want to make things people haven't seen before, but I am always excited to talk with someone else who likes to make stuff.

p.s. No, just in case you're going to ask, I did not misspell Warrior, its supposed to be like that.

Welcome to HoP!

Avoid the squirrels....

"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "Or you wouldn't have come here."

Haha. Thanks guys! Glad to be in touch with some cool folks!

Drake, it seems to me that a lot of us are into building! I'm such a nerd for building censored. I met a guy who made up a toy. It was a double staff on a chain with two pivoting smaller double staffs hanging from each side of the bigger on. He had a set and it made 12 points of fire but controlling it was impossible for me. He rocked it though, looks cool as censored.

Hope that wasn't too confusing, it's difficult to describe!

I think I got the basic idea.

I'm mainly working on just the standard stuff, torch poi, staff, etc. As well as less standard but still pretty common stuff like tri-section staff, whip and so on.

My "original" I'm working on with a mechanical engineering buddy, a mechanized chain sword that with a flip of a switch (or lever, button, we haven't figured it out yet) it goes from fire sword to a lax chain and then can go back again.
