Here's a tutorial vid on how to do a five beat weave with hoops if anyone is interested:
Also there's lots of other poi-style hoop moves demonstrated in this video that I uploaded a couple of weeks ago called "Bags of Poop 1.0":
Are there many people on hop doing much poi hoop? It's an awful lot of fun!

She's not on HoP, but I do spin with a hooper who keeps adapting the poi spinners' tricks at our jams. I think it's pretty badass.
