Posted: Oh I like that one, it feels so nice Let me think. I don't understand how linear isolations work. But I understand fully how to do them and the entire concept. Just not physics-wise why they do what they do.
The only luck is bad luck.

Posted: That makes no sense??? Every time I try to picture linear isolations in my head all I see is a point isolation.

Posted: Well, Detroit, you've hit on something there that I didn't actually mention it.
Its a flattened cateye THROUGH point isolations. There is a point isolation top and bottom.
I am of course talking about the straight horizontal or vertical line isolation rather than the squares and other patterns that one can make through line isolations, but most of the others are still loosely based on the cateye motion.
With the square, for example, theres actually a prospin and and an antispin way of doing it! If you do it BF and have them go the same way, one will be antispun and the other will be spun as a natural process. The antispin one is loosely based on a moving cateye motion, but its also a cycloid.
