Hey all!
I started poi about a year and a half ago and love it! I'm at uni in Wagga Wagga, Aus so me and a couple guys starts a fire twirling club as there is NOTHING out here! I'm from Sydney though. I have done a tiny amount of staff and I've been practicing with a friends rope/fire dart. Poi is my thing but, I love it!

At the moment I'm stuck though. I've found I have these moments when I realise how the poi move and how some of the moves I know all fit together but I'm still can't change the speeds of my poi and I can't make them to completely different things...but I'm working on it!

Welcome!

Avoid the squirrels. Like the plague.

Just in NSW! Close though, some people call cases, slabs and there is way too much AFL around.

Until I moved here for uni, I didn't have a clue where it was either and thought it was a ridiculous name!

lol I do like the name BUT the reason I moved was solely for my course, I do TV Production don't at wagga and is one of the only the places to it (There's a big difference between TV and Film courses)...plus I love living at uni which I couldn't afford to do in Syd! Its amazing down here!

...Lazer breath and fire breath vs. Lazers...not to mention star destroyers have a force field and Darth Vader would have tactics on how to deal with giant lizards down to a T.

The power of a giant indestructible lizard is insignificant compared to the power of the Force.
